JFT Japanese Language Exam Center Capacity in Sri Lanka to Double by November 2026!
 

We are thrilled to share groundbreaking news that brings immense relief to thousands of Sri Lankan students aspiring to work and build a future in Japan!
 

Due to limited slot availability at the local Prometric Test Center, nearly 330 students from Viron Japan Academy's July 2025 and January 2026 batches—along with countless other candidates island-wide—faced severe difficulties in reserving exam dates for the JFT (Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese).
 

Recognizing the impact of this crisis on our youth, Viron Japan Academy continuously petitioned official channels starting in January 2026, urging authorities to either increase the current center’s capacity or establish a new test center in Sri Lanka.

As a direct result of these persistent efforts, official confirmation has been received that necessary actions are underway to double the Prometric test center capacity by November 2026!
 

This victory benefits not just our academy, but the entire Sri Lankan student community aiming for Japanese language certification.
